Device State:

The device state prerequisite enables you to select a device and a state for the device to be in before triggering the action.

Select 'Device State' from the 'prerequisite type' drop down menu. Two other drop down menus will appear one to 'Select the device to validate' and the other to 'Select the required state'.

The 'Select the device to validate' drop down menu displays all the devices that have been entered into the Harmony system. Select one of them to validate by clicking on the required device.

The 'Select the required state' drop down menu enables you to select the state for the device to be in for it to trigger the action. For example if the 'Cinema Screen' is 'Turned On' trigger the action which could be for example dim lights. The automated effect can give a more authentic cinema experience.

When the type settings have been completed click on 'Next' to continue with the prerequisite set up.
