Setting Up Media:

To setup the Hamony Media in the Harmony GUI you must have the Harmony Media server up and running to enable the GUI to connect to it and display it's contents.

Connecting to the Media server: To enable the Harmony GUI to display the media properties in the Media tab, the GUI must connect by registering the Media server's IP address and port numbers. To do this you must click on the Settings tab and tick the 'Enable Media control' in Media server section of the Harmony GUI Local settings.

Entering the IP address: Enter the IP address of the computer the Media server is running on, this will enable Harmony to know where to connect to. Click here to know how to find the IP address of a computer.

Port number: Enter the port number in the numerical box by 'Port'. Please note that the default port number is 3133, this should enable you to connect to server.

Click on the 'Update' button to set any changes you have made.
